Mayor Lyn Hall honoured with forestry award

PRINCE GEORGE — Mayor Lyn Hall has been named the 2019 Forest Community Champion.

The Forest Products Association of Canada held its second annual awards banquet this afternoon (May 9).

The Association says the event is a chance to thank those who may not work in the sector but are champions alongside the industry to support sustainable forest management and the economic benefits forestry brings to our communities.
