33 Northern Medical Grads Get Their Shingles
PRINCE GEORGE – For the twelfth year, the Northern Medical Program has graduated another round of physicians, 33 this time.Of those 33, eight are from Prince George.
They will now go into between two and seven years of residency, depending on their specialty. Some of those specialties with this graduating class include diagnostic radiology, emergency medicine, internal medicine, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, pediatrics, physical medicine & rehabilitation, psychiatry, radiation oncology and urology.
“It’s such an unbelievable pleasure to walk through the corridors and wards and the emergency department of the hospital and see our grads at work and work with them,” says Dr. Paul Winwood, Associate Vice President, Northern Medical Program.
