He’ll have some big shoes, or rather skates, to fill here in Prince George, but that doesn’t seem to bother Fischer O’Brien. The local boy will be skating for his hometown Cougars in upcoming years after he was traded to the Cats during last week’s WHL Bantam Draft. Originally drafted in 2018 by the Lethbridge Hurricanes, Fischer will now follow in the strides of his older brother Brogan, who finished with the team last year. The move sends the Cougars’ 2017 first-round draft pick Tyson Phare to Lethbridge.
