Neaton shutout, Spruce Kings shutdown Senators

He only had to make 13 saves, but on the national stage, a shutout is a shutout.

Logan Neaton did just that for the Spruce Kings on Monday night as he picked up his fourth clean sheet since the postseason began and the Kings won 4-0 over the Ottawa Jr. Senators.

Nick Poisson opened the scoring with his second of the tournament and Nick Bochen scored in the final minute of the first to give the Kings a 2-0 lead. They’d enter the second period on a five-on-three, where Ben Brar would score his first of the tournament. Finally, it was Dustin Manz roofing a quick backhanded shot for the exclamation point.
