PRINCE GEORGE — Yes it was warm this weekend in Prince George, but not warm enough to break any records.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Matt MacDonald says the warmest it got was Saturday when the peak temperature hit 26 degrees – still not enough though to beat the previous record of 27.8 degrees set that day back in 1971.
He says a big change is in store for us this week though, with rain showers expected tomorrow and Wednesday and again on Friday and Saturday.
