Largest paving project of the season gets underway

PRINCE GEORGE – The largest paving operation of the year will get underway next week on Foothills Boulevard, and motorists can expect road closures.

The work is set to be begin after the long weekend, from May 21st to 24th, weather permitting and will see 1.6 kilometres of of road paved from the intersection at Highland Drive south down the hill to North Nechako Road.

It’s expected this section of the road will be closed during the project. Signs were put on both sides of the work sites last week to alert motorists about the possible traffic disruption.
