PRINCE GEORGE – From bottles and cans to dollars and cents. A financial dilemma for the Exploration Place has turned into a good news story thanks to a donation from a community minded business.
Funds raised from 3 months worth of donations to the 6 PG Recycling and Return it bins through the city helped the museum with the extension of the Terry fox exhibit.
$3,500 was raised for the museum, while the bins themselves have raised over $55,000 through 4 years, all going back into the community.
