Permanent downtown road closure coming

PRINCE GEORGE — Motorists beware. Sixth Avenue between Dominion Street and Quebec Street downtown will be permanently closed to vehicle traffic starting this Tuesday.

The closure will go into effect at 6 a.m. to aid in the future construction of a new hotel.

Access through the work site will be limited to construction equipment.

According to the City of Prince George, the road closure is necessary to allow for the installation of trailers related to the future construction of the project.
