PRINCE GEORGE – As the summer season nears, sun rays continue to become stronger. For some vehicle owners, choose to tint their windows to cut down on the amount of sun entering. However, before vehicle owners make the move to the dark side, they should be aware of the provincial window tint laws. Prince George RCMP continues to find drivers who illegally install tinted film on vehicle windows. According to police, windows that are illegally tinted obstruct site lines. Drivers found with illegally tinted windows may find themselves being issued with a 109 dollar fine.
