Accessibility top of mind for new downtown pool
Construction on the new downtown pool will start in 2020, the new building will be looking to be more accessible–something that the old one wasn’t.
The upgrade includes the installation of a two and a half storey addition to the north side of the public library. The structure will be something PG residents can be proud of since it is entirely made by a local architect and construction company.

The grants given to the province by the BC Air Access Program total $8 million and will go towards things such as runway resurfacing, terminal building expansions and increased medevac services.
RCMP in Hudson Hope believe a man is dead after reports of a 39 year old male being swept away by fast rising water in the Peace River, near the Peace Canyon Bridge on Wednesday.
RCMP and SAR conducted a search for the man Wednesday and Thursday.
