Accessibility top of mind for new downtown pool

PRINCE GEORGE — Construction on the new downtown pool is set for 2020. The rest of 2019 is for the design phase with accessibility being top of mind.
Leading the way will be HDR Architecture Associates and Chandos Construction. They have consulted the wood community to see what sort of local materials could be used, in hopes of designing a building that looks and feels like Prince George.
One major gripe of the Four Seasons Leisure Pool was a lack of accessibility, something this new building will aim to address.
