Fish aren’t the only ones taking the bait, bike thieves are too

PRINCE GEORGE–RCMP are deploying bait bikes around the city in the efforts to catch thieves and deter future bike thefts.

On Wednesday, multiple arrests were made in a two hour period after frontline officers placed a bait bike in the community. The first case saw the bike stolen within four minutes of the officers placement. The man was arrested and taken into custody overnight.

31 year old Orlando James Egnell was charged with theft under $5000.
