Hockey player hacks provincial lacrosse roster

An exciting opportunity has come up for one local lacrosse player, this just a few months after his bantam hockey team won the provincial title this year. The multi-sport athlete is now representing BC on a summer team that will compete for national glory in August. The 5’10” 14-year-old certainly stands out on his bantam team. Ilett actually plans to pursue hockey. He’s already committed to the Cariboo Cougars Major Bantam team for next year, with hopes of getting drafted to the WHL, but for a summer hobby, cracking Team BC isn’t bad. He’ll start practicing with them late July before Nationals in Coquitlam in August.
