RCMP continue to catch speeding drivers on major thoroughfares

PRINCE GEORGE – Prince George RCMP Municipal Traffic Services continue to find drivers who drive over the speed limit on major thoroughfares in the city.

Police observed and recorded a vehicle travelling at 131 kilometres per hour on Foothills Boulevard earlier last week.

Some of those speeders were found breaking the law on Foothills, Domano, and Tyner boulevards.

According to police, some drivers see the wider roads and go faster.

During the RCMP speed campaign police issued 251 speeding violations and 11 were for excessive speeding violations.
