Local organ donor and kidney disease advocate passes away

PRINCE GEORGE — Sad news to share about a local advocate for organ donation and kidney disease.

Paul Duperron passed away March 12th at the age of 71.

He and his wife Diane were featured many times on the CKPG news speaking either for the Kidney Foundation or for organ donation, as he received a transplant in 2011 after living with kidney disease for many years.

A celebration of life will be held for Duperron this Saturday from 11 to 3 at the Hart Pioneer Centre with internment to follow.
