Last summer, the phone of local football standout Braden Reed began ringing as university football programs pursued the PGSS Polar. There’s been a lot of interest in the Team BC player and now that his high school career is over, he’s committed his talents to the Queens University Gaels, where he’ll be studying kinesiology. Though Reed led the charge offensively for the Polars, he’ll be on the defensive side of the ball for the 2010 National Champion Gaels, as an outside linebacker. Reed received valuable training with Team BC, leading to a PG Bowl MVP and now a USports scholarship. He’ll start training camp with Queen’s mid-August in Kingston, Ontario.
