Local boy places third at national motocross event

PRINCE GEORGE- Local boy Jess Pettis came in third place in front of a hometown crowd in Round 2 of the Rockstar Energy Triple Crown yesterday. The motocross nationals series is travelling around Canada this summer and the winner will be awarded 100 thousand dollars after 8 rounds. The event took place at the Blackwater MX Park which is the only BC location in the tour this year.
