Police Recover stolen vehicle in Quesnel

QUESNEL– RCMP in Quesnel say they have retrieved a stolen vehicle after a complaint of an altercation outside an apartment.

RCMP responded to the complaint Monday morning where a vehicle had been stolen. The vehicle, a blue Honda Civic was spotted driving at high speeds along Lewis Drive.

Police attempted to stop the vehicle but the driver refused to pull over and no pursuit was initiated due to the dangerous way the suspect was driving.

Police patrolled the area and found the unoccupied stolen vehicle in an alley between Winder St. and Willis St. The car sustained some body damage, and is currently being processed for forensic evidence.
