Raptors win is a win for basketball in Canada

PRINCE GEORGE – Basketball fans across the nation celebrated last night as the Toronto Raptors won Canada’s 1st National Basketball Association Championship.

Millions of Canadian’s were glued to their screens as history was being made in Oakland, California.

It’s the first time in history the NBA trophy has left the United States of America.

During the 6 games played against the Golden State Warriors, Toronto had the support of the nation behind them.

Many people agree a win like this could grow the game in Canada.
