Going out on top is always a good idea and it’s a saying that two Spruce Kings employees are fully embracing. After helping the team to a Fred Page and Doyle Cup win, Trainer Rick Brown and Equipment Manager Bill Baldridge have both announced their retiring. Baldridge was a junior hockey linesmen in the 80’s, before joining the Spruce Kings board in the 90’s. He’s worked as a trainer and equipment manager since 2006. Brown joined the Spruce Kings in 2016 as the Team Trainer, after serving with the Cariboo Cougars for four season. The Kings are still looking to fill the role of Trainer and Athletic Therapist for the upcoming season.
