School trustees approve pay hike

PRINCE GEORGE —The Prince George School Board approved themselves a pay raise at last night’s (June 18) final public meeting of the school year.

The raise amounts to a 1.75 per cent pay hike. Remuneration is reviewed annually by the school district.

With the hike, trustees will earn $18,571 a year, the vice-chairperson will earn $20,071 and the chair will make $21,571.
