First annual Ribfest kicks off Friday

PRINCE GEORGE — Set up is underway for Ribfest in Prince George. And as organizers note, residents are advised to bring their appetites.
The first annual event will take place in the parking lot at Pacific Western Brewing where crews are busy putting up the infrastructure required to host the event – including food stalls and a stage.
The event kicks off Friday at noon and will run all weekend.
Thousands of people are expected to attend and organizers say there’s something to enjoy for everyone in the family.
