PRINCE GEORGE — It’s hard to believe but the end of the school year is in sight.
With that in mind, the Chair of the Board of Education in School District 57 has taken some time to reflect and says as usual, there have been many up’s and down’s along the way.
Tim Bennett gives the district full marks for its focus on improving core academics and for increases in five year completion rates for Indigenous, non-Indigenous and special needs students.
But there have also been challenges – including the resignation of superintendent Marilyn Marquis-Forster and mental health challenges.
