PRINCE GEORGE — The Carefree Society has donated a bus to Big Brothers Big Sisters Prince George.
The 2007 Dodge Sprinter is fully equiped with a lift system to provide transportation to everyone and notes it will replace an older 15 passenger van that was retired earlier this year.
Big Brothers Big Sisters Executive Director Tim Bennett says the donation will truly create change for the agency and for the children it serves because it will allow it to increase its child care spaces and serve more children.
He says the bus will be added to the fleet of vehicles the non-profit uses for pick up of the Before and After School Care Program it runs.
