Lheidli T’enneh celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day
PRINCE GEORGE– Friday, June 21 marks National Indigenous Peoples Day across the country.
This years celebration in Prince George is being held by the Lheidli T’enneh at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park. Festivities kick off at 11 am and run until 4 pm, before packing up and moving to the Canada Games Plaza to continue the celebrations with the three day long multi-cultural event, Heatwave Celebrate Cultures.

National Indigenous Peoples Day is held annually on the Summer Solstice. There will be music, dancing, cultural workshops as well as activities for kids and food.
