Prince George set to celebrate Legion Week

PRINCE GEORGE — Legion Week kicks off this weekend in B.C, including in Prince George.

Organizers will mark the occasion with a community family fun day and complimentary barbecue at the Railway and Forestry Museum on Sunday.

Families are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the food bank.

Kids can enjoy the mini train ride or take part in face painting, games and crafts.

The goal of Legion Week is of course to remember and honour the service of all Canadian men and women who have served in the military.
