PRINCE GEORGE– The City honoured four students for their dedication to the community at a council meeting on Monday, June 24.
Qais Khan, Ashlee Hick, Sylvia Masich and Juri Sudo-Rustad were the honourees of the night for the Youth of the Year award.
The award is presented annually, usually to only one young person in the community that demonstrates a high level of school involvement, and significant contributions in the community through volunteering. However according to council this year it was too close to pick just one.
Juri Sudo-Rustad was the youngest person to ever be elected to the board of the Prince George Community Arts Council, at only 17.
