Cougars season to feature “Oktoberfest” night and 23 weekend home games

Let it be known, there are now 86 days before the Prince George Cougars begin their 2019-2020 season.

The WHL schedule is out, and for the Cats it begins on Friday, September 20th against the Vancouver Giants at the CN Centre.

On top of December 14th’s “Teddy and Toque Toss”, which once again features the Victoria Royals at the CN Centre, and a return of “Country Night”, the team is also planning on doing an “Oktoberfest” night.

The best news for the Cougars and their fans is that 23 of their 34 home games fall on weekends or holidays. The season features two six-game roadtrips, including the final six games of the season.
