Police seeking man’s identity after a suspicious incident in Heritage area

PRINCE GEORGE–The Prince George RCMP were made aware of an incident involving a suspicious stranger allegedly chasing after a woman.

On Saturday, June 22 at around 9:30 a.m. a woman was out for a run in the Heritage are of Prince George. She was running along a path between Coreless Crescent and Claxton Avenue when an unknown man began running to catch up with her.

The woman sped up just before the man was able to catch her, she ran to safety and the man gave up the pursuit. Although no physical contact was has, the man’s motives are not known.

Investigators are asking the public’s assistance in identifying the man, anyone with information about the man or with external surveillance in the area are asked to contact PG RCMP at (250) 561-3300.
