T-Wolves record-breaker signs in home country

For years she tore down boards and put up points for the Timberwolves and now, Vasiliki Louka will be doing at the professional level. The UNBC Women’s Basketball alum has signed a pro contract with her hometown team of Olympiacos Basketball Club in Athens, Greece. The club also happens to be the top team in Greece’s professional basketball circuit, having won the league championship the last four years. Louka spent the last five seasons dawning Timberwolves colours and has her name riddled all over the record books, including being the program’s leader in points, blocks, and rebounds. She was also awarded Female Athlete of the year her final three season at UNBC.
