Long weekend gas prices hiked up for the north, but not the south?
PRINCE GEORGE–Long weekend pump prices are seeing a bit of a price hike, while in the south they saw a decrease from what they usually are before the long weekend.
According to Dan McTeague, Senior Petroleum Analyst for GaspriceWizard.com prices in Prince George are “high” right now. He says there is usually a six to ten cent retail margin on gas, currently that margin sits at around 15 cents.
The lowest price in Vancouver according to GasBuddy is currently 130.9 at a Super Save, while here, the lowest is only available if you have a Costco membership for 125.9, the second cheapest being 132.9 at Esso.
“My advice here at GasPriceWizard would be to ensure that you don’t gad up until at least tomorrow if you can hold off, or even better yet, Sunday or Monday.”–Dan McTeague, Senior Petroleum Analyst, GasPriceWizard.com
