UPDATE: Highway 97 North reopens following accident

ckpgPRINCE GEORGE — UPDATE: The accident between Bruin Ave and Haight Rd (near McLeod Lake) was cleared Monday morning.

RCMP have not confirmed any injuries related to the incident.

EARLIER: Motorists beware: a motor vehicle incident has closed Highway 97 North in both directions 12 kilometres south of McLeod Lake.

Drive BC says an assessment is in progress with crews en route.

No word on what caused the incident or if anyone has been injured.
