PRINCE GEORGE — A 38-year-old Prince George man is facing multiple charges after allegedly breaking into the same business twice in a week.

Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass says the first incident occurred before 2 a.m. at a business on the 1400 block of Patricia Boulevard on June 27.

“Frontline officers attended and found a smashed window to the business,” he says. “However a suspect was not located.”:

Fast forward to July 2 at 10:30 p.m., when police received a report from a member of the public advising of a break and enter in progress at the same business.

Douglass says officers quickly attended the scene and arrested Clayton Tyler Moll nearby.

“Through evidence gathered at both scenes, investigators believe that Moll is responsible for both incidents,” he says.

Douglass says Moll is facing the following charges:

  • Two counts of break, enter and theft
  • Two counts of theft under $5,000
  • Three counts of failure to comply with probation
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

Moll has been held in custody and will make his next appearance in court on July 10.

Douglass says earlier this year, Moll was arrested and convicted of break and enter to the same business and received a sentence of 122 days in jail and two years probation that included a curfew condition and a condition not to attend the business.
