Your favourite berry is back–your favourite BC berry is back: White Spot offers BC blueberries for the summer

BRITISH COLUMBIA–If you like blueberries and White Spot, boy oh boy is this about to make your day.

You’ll soon be able to enjoy your favourite fruit at your favourite restaurant. BC Blueberries will be offered at 100 White Spot and Triple O’s participating locations this summer. This is part of a new Buy BC partnership with the restaurants to promote local ingredients.

“This partnership means more support for our agricultural industry and reaching new markets and consumers all over the province,” said Lana Popham, Minister of Agriculture.

Starting July 8th, 2019 blueberry milkshakes and Island Farms ice cream will be available at 102 Triple O’s and White Spot locations, and on July 15, White Spot will begin featuring its BC Blueberry pie.

White spot says they will be allocating a portion of the Buy BC partnership program funds to support internal initiatives that will take graduates of its in-house Red seal training program on tours of farms, fields and pastures around the province.
