Prince George man caught in stolen vehicle

PRINCE GEORGE — A 41-year-old Prince George man is facing multiple charges after being caught in a stolen vehicle.

Leonard Earl Prince of Prince George is facing charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop for police, resist arrest and possession of stolen property under $5,000.

It relates to an incident that occurred yesterday (Juy 4) when police located a stolen vehicle being driven by Prince in an alleyway near the 4300 block of 1st Avenue.

Officers arrested Prince a short time later and he was taken into custody for a court appearance.

Police allege the vehicle was originally stolen on the night of July 2 near the intersection of 14th Avenue and Irwin Street.
