Summer is finally here, and it’s wonderful. Get out and celebrate the warmer temperatures and check out all the great local events happening around PG!
Get craft with the kids! BMO KidzArt Dayz is a celebration of creativity through art, music, and movement for the whole family! Through this two-day festival, toddlers to pre-teens and all those kids-at-heart can partake in dozens of interactive hands-on art stations and activities. From music, collaborative community art projects, inflatable sculptures and more – there are creative opportunities everywhere.
Presented through Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC, Learn To Fish is an introductory program perfect for kids 5-15 and their families. This half-day course at West Lake will teach participants fish identification, habitat and conservation, knot tying, proper fish handling, ethics and best practices for using rods, reels, lines, and tackle.
Enjoy a free community event focusing on everything motorsport, motocross and more! With fun interactive activities to encourage kids and adults to discover different outdoor recreation opportunities, this family-friendly street party takes place from 10am-3pm with a ticketed 19+ evening event kicking off at 6pm till midnight. The evening portion turns everything up a notch with live music, local craft beer, street food, and interactive outdoor party games.
