What’s the buzz downtown? It’s the 30th annual BMO KidzArt Dayz
PRINCE GEORGE–It’s not just for kids, it’s for adults too! The 30th Annual KidzArt Dayz was hosted Friday, July 5th at the Canada Games Plaza.
Free workshops were held from 10 am until 3 pm. Paint spinners, rocket launchers and even an Oobleck walk were workshops set up for kids and adults to participate in. The event focused on three key aspects, art, music and movement.
Yza and her two kids moved up from Vancouver three years ago and have been living in Prince George ever since. Although their move was three years ago, she says she didn’t hear about this event until her second year of living here and wishes she had. “We didn’t know, our neighbours told us about this event, otherwise we would have come the first year we moved. But it’s free and it’s fun,” she told us on an on camera interview.
Last year 12,000 people came out to the event and this year BMO KidzArt Dayz Coordinator, Emilio Caputo says they are hoping to surpass that number.
