Teen pens third children’s book on First Responders
PRINCE GEORGE – A teen author took a spin through town today and made a stop at Fire Hall #1 promoting his third book, “Brandy and her Superheroes.”
“It’s about a dog separated from her family by the forest fires,” explains Nathan McTaggert. “And, having agility training like the superdogs, and she helps out with the forest fires and gets reunited with her family at the end of the end of the book.”
It Nathan’s third book and the net proceeds from the sale of the book go to different charities, such as the Burn Fund and the Pacific Assistance Dogs Society. He says all of his books involve First Responders and he’s trying to write books about different kinds of First Responders.
His first book raised $2,500 for the Burn Fund and another $2,500 to other charities. Sales from this book will go to Pacific Assistance Dog Society.
