PRINCE GEORGE – There is now a Green Party candidate for the riding of Cariboo-Prince George.
Mackenzie Kerr is a 22-year-old UNBC student.She says there is a Green wave coming, with things like the close election in PEI and the Greens forming the official opposition.
“There’s a Green wave right across the country now. I mean, look at PEI, Paul Manly got elected. Elizabeth May is not alone anymore. Yeah, there’s just a huge wave of support across the world, really.”
As a 22-year-old, she says she is committed to “engaging young people in the future of Canada” and a sustainable future for future generations.
