PRINCE GEORGE — A summer staple is set to return to Prince George next week. The fourth annual Foodie Fridays begins on Friday July 19 at Canada Games Plaza.
The city is again inviting food trucks, sidewalk vendors, and residents with an appetite to help partake in the event.
Last year Foodie Friday’s attracted more than 5,000 visits, which will again feature live music through the lunch hour.
It will run each Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. until September 6. The city was aiming to move it to to the city’s new downtown park, Wood Innovation Square, but the city says its construction timeline wouldn’t allow for it.
