Big Brother Big Sisters hit by Thieves

PRINCE GEORGE – A not for profit organization has fell victim to suspected car thieves. Tuesday morning employees of Big Brothers Big Sisters arrived at their office on 777 Kinsmen Place noticed two of their vans were broken into and damaged.According to a staff member the vans were attempted to be hot wired. The ignition consoles and wiring harnesses were heavily damaged, forcing the vehicles out of service. The vans are used daily to transport summer camp kids and others varies programs. The vans are insured however raising the money for the deductible can be a challenge for a non-profit organization.
