WINNIPEG, Man. — Police continue to search northern Manitoba for two young men wanted for murder in British Columbia.
But R-C-M-P are admitting the pair might also have left the area with somebody’s inadvertent help.
Police have been searching an area around Gillam, but an information officer in Winnipeg says the teens could have had help from somebody who did not realize who they were.
Corporal Julie Courchaine says if that is the case, someone needs to come forward with that information.
Bryer Schmegelsky and Kam McLeod are charged in the murder of one man and suspected in the fatal shootings of an Australian man and his American girlfriend in the Dease Lake area of B-C.
