Still no sign of B.C. murder suspects

YORK LANDING, Man. — The RCMP says it knows the uncertainty over a sighting of two B-C murder suspects in the northern Manitoba community of York Landing is trying for residents.
But it says that after an exhaustive search, it has still not been able to substantiate a tip that teenagers Bryer Schmegelsky and Kam McLeod were spotted near the community dump.
The Mounties say RCMP resources will remain in the York Landing and Gillam areas, where the pair were last confirmed to have been seen.
They say that in the meantime, they thank community members for their patience and understanding and ask them to continue to be vigilant.
