DAWSON CREEK– An RCMP missing persons cold case will have it’s 45-year anniversary on August 15th.
Murphy Williams was last seen on the morning of August 15th, 1974 at a farm residence near Mile 30 on the Alaksa Highway where he had been working for the previous two days. Williams was reported missing by a family member in Fort St. John.
Reports say that Williams was acting strangely throughout the night and when the farmer awoke Williams was no where to be found. The investigation is ongoing with Dawson Creek RCMP continuing to investigate leads and following up on information provided.
