Help prevent wildfires this BC Day long weekend

KAMLOOPS—With sunny, warmer weather in the long range forecast this B.C. Day long weekend and in the weeks ahead,the BC Wildfire service says its important we don’t get complacent. While its been a fairly quiet wildfire season, the month of August is typically the most active part of B.C.’s wildfire season. From April to July , the BC Wildfire Service responded to 579 wildfires throughout the province, with over half of those fires human-caused.
