Huge comeback propels PG team to another title

At the midget-aged provincials this weekend, it was another dominant performance for the PG Surg Med Knights, which almost slipped away. Trailing 8-1 late in the semifinal, the team put up 14 runs in the bottom of the sixth to advance onto the finals, where they’d get it done once again. The victory is the Knights’ fifth one in the last four years, which also includes a first and second place finish at Westerns. This weekend sees the Baseball BC provincials get played in Burnaby, for a spot at the Western Canadian Championship. Six teams that were present this past weekend will be there, gunning for the Knights once again.
