PRINCE GEORGE – They are sometimes referred to as the guardian angels for roadside workers. They flag and hold stop signs. They radio co-workers, and they all do it as vehicles speed by. For thirty-three years Julie Travis has watched over her co-workers. Each workday, she sets up road signs and controls traffic to protect those who work within the work zone. Travis would like drivers to obey the road signs and flag persons, as anything unexpected could happen.
