PRINCE GEORGE — The company hoping to build a $5.6 billion dollar petrochemical plant in Prince George is hosting an open house this afternoon.

West Coast Olefins executives will be at Uda Dune Baiyoh on Vancouver Street from 3 until 5 and 6 until 8 tonight to provide more information to the public and answer questions.

The project was announced about two weeks ago. If approved, it would convert liquified natural gas into ethylene and polyethelene plastic pellets.

West Coast Olefins has already secured a spot for the proposed plant in the BCR Industrial site.
