PRINCE GEORGE–Businesses and restaurants took part in the 7th Big Squeeze Fundraiser to raise money for the Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) on Wednesday.
19 businesses and four restaurants whipped up their best lemonade in order to raise money for the non-profit. The businesses compete for trophies, in three categories: Top fundraiser, Best tasting, and Restaurant that sells the most.
A group of judges, made up of members of BBBS made their way around town testing the lemonade. The fundraiser raised more than $12,000 last year and has hopes to beat that goal this year.
The Top Fundraiser trophy went to AimHi, raising over $3,800, the Best Lemonade was a tie between the Prince George Chamber of Commerce and Blake productions Ltd.
