Hotel tear down

PRINCE GEORGE – It was known as a landmark hotel for nearly sixty years, this week it’s slowly being demolished. The Hotel Simon Fraser, built 1960 with some of the latest ideas in architecture, for the next few days work crews plan to remove the building and some of its long-standing history. In 2008 the hotel was eventually converted into a Days Inn. The site is being prepared for the future site of the downtown pool.
